Hello there! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Emily, the owner of O2 Life Hyperbarics. I wanted to share a little bit of my story and tell you why I chose to open this business.
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare, incurable nerve condition that the medical community still does not have any answers for or understands. I had gone through all the rigamarole of what the medical field had to offer and was left searching for something to help on my own.
Hyperbarics was never really on my radar until after I was left unable to speak or write following a medical procedure. The medical system really had nothing to offer me. I am not one to just accept this new reality and am a fighter! My family and myself found that hyperbarics might be able to help. So off we went to learn all we could about this new therapy.
I started treatments and after a few sessions, my speech began to come back! This therapy worked as I had some vessels in my brain that were restricted, by undergoing hyperbaric pressure, along with oxygen, new pathways were able to be built and oxygen was re-routed where I needed it in my brain! This therapy also helped with some pain and inflammation that I was also experiencing from my condition! Throughout my whole health journey, I felt the Lord was telling me that He was going to use my journey and this treatment to help other people!
To say I am passionate about Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy would be an understatement! As soon as my health allowed, I started the process of becoming Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy certified and getting my business started! I am so excited to be able to have this clinic open so that I will be able to help others with their various health struggles!
